But you have failed to make that case. While I would agree that the 2001 cuts were not effectively targeted (about which the administration was warned before doing them), the 2003 cuts were.

More importantly, you have failed to take into account the economic circumstances surrounding the time period. Bush inherited a serious recession -- one which was then multiplied by 9/11. If you will recall, this attack was targeting the CENTER of our financial system. It is astonishing to me that you would even PURPORT to look at this situation without considering the consequences of the 9/11 attacks.

This is erroneous. As I have previously pointed out to you, after the 2003 cuts revenues rose to a level well beyond that of year 2000 revenue, which totally shoots down this portion of your "argument".
