I assume you have gone to the QT Help menu where copying data & settings is discussed:

Help->Help Topics->Troubleshooting->FAQ->"I want to copy portfolios & settings"

I don't remember trying it myself, but a few years back I replaced my laptop and have the same setup running on the new one, so I must have figured out how to do it.
