I haven't seen any birds in it yet>> We have a ditch in back and have seen egrets, great blue herons and kingfishers. Guy came into the coffee shop today with a piece of wood, 4" by4" by one foot. He was gonna split into kindleing and in a WTF moment ... there was a .45 ACP bullet. No entry channel in the wood. Must have been shot 50 years ago from far away as the bullet was 180 degrees off from the rings.No channel so it must have stuck in the bark and the tree grew around it.
