Tort lawyers have extracted huge sums for those too stupid to follow instructions.

I guess I'd rather skip the huge settlement.

These settlements get a little ridiculous. They have generated an entire cottage industry with layers of lawyers advertising on TV to recruit people who think "It's MY money! I need cash now!"
