Mr. Babcock and threaders/Datek Personnel, I would appreciate if anyone can answer the following question: (sorry if it's been asked before): According to my understanding, Island is a limit order book. Now what does Island do when a fast movement makes many previously nonmarketable limit orders marketable instantaneously? Still pairing off through Island? Or Relay to SelectNet/Instinet? Or delist and send back to the entering brokerage firm for further processing? Or any other means? Again, thanks for any insight.
