I definitely have the flu, but I drug myself very slowly out of bed and over to the computer to check on my dying stock of the moment (Interneuron Pharmaceuticals), and thought perhaps I might be able to say something very witchy, since I am quite light-headed, and startle the arch-conservatives, maybe, giving them a vicarious thrill.
As you can see, though, I am still semi-delerious and not making much sense at all, and I have not read anything but hope everyone is having enormous fun, and I am also sorry for the posts I was intending to answer when I suddenly took sick.
It was a very weird flu to get--I tried to go pick my daughter up at school that day I was discussing bulbs with Mephisto, and found myself unable to drive very well. I lost my depth perception in a way, and hit my forehead really hard on the top of the car trying to get into it. So now I am a very lumpy, grumpy hardheaded woman for sure, but a very well-rested one, having spent the last several days mostly sleeping.
I hope NO ONE ELSE AT ALL gets this nasty flu, which I probably contracted standing endlessly in a very crowded line at my local HMO. I have since learned that the vaccine is not fully effective for two weeks. Bummer!!!!
Anyway, back to bed with me before I say something REALLY stupid. Does anyone else think Tylenol PM is a really cool drug, incidentally????? |
