6/17/11 Contest Update
Since its Wednesday IPO, Pandora’s stock has been streaming a dirge. And for much of the week that’s been the station investors have tuned in.
At Friday’s close, the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 8.93% YTD (vs. up 10.70% YTD a week ago) and the Contest median was up 4.64% YTD (vs. up 7.48% YTD a week ago). Still in the red for the year, the Nasdaq Composite Index was down -1.37% YTD (vs. down -.34% YTD a week ago).
MCBIO’s portfolio (up 38.80% YTD) had an off week but remained our leader, with CRAZYP’s portfolio (up 34.76% YTD) and ROCKY’s portfolio (up 30.90% YTD) holding on to second and third place.
At Friday's close, 29 of the 38 Contest portfolios were in the black with 12 of the 38 beating the NBI.
