I thought this was a thread on evolution? Evolution is a fact. Every major university and every serious scientist in the world treats evolution as fact. It is reproduced in the labs around the world every day. We evolved from wild animals. Science has the evidence (DNA and fossils) and all they are doing now is refining the evidence. Was neandertal a separate species? Did homosapien's breed with them (recent DNA says yes). How did Homo Erectus, Homo Sapien and Neandertal interbreed to produce modern man? And the universe is a quantum universe where we may find the mind of big deep truths about our existence and other forms of intelligence. Not sure what all this talk about a "god" is about? That is in the category called faith i.e. beliefs without evidence. Facts and reason are what produced civilization and things like democracy are what made civilization sophisticated. Don't think there was a lot of discussion about democracy in the bible. Ancient Greeks discussed it a lot. Eastern religion I put more in the philosophy category of the ancient Greeks.
