HI G, It seems to me that our favorite sector has been making a morph to that of a mature sector. A sector that is very well capitalized and bosted fortress like balance sheets. It becomes apparent that M&A will consolidate this sector,as organic growth becomes more difficult to achieve as the rule of big numbers also impacts all. It strikes me that the investment community is looking at this sector with a different view - one of dividends and put/call income vs that of double baggers to six baggers. Since you are my Options guru - what do you think a fair/safe yield would be, if one wanted to bolster th 3.5 % dividend on Intel with put call info. I'm going to ask Don W to consider adding a columns on his data that reflects the current dividend yield. I have resisted this viewpoint for quite a while,I'm thinking it is time to put the entire accoutn to work vs the long term buy and hold that has not worked for quite a while.mea culpa<smile> Bob Just checking to see if you would be so kind as to share with the group what your options activity has yielded over the last several years. Highlighting the dividend yield and bolstering it with options put call selling may well enhance all of our wealth.I'm sure we have considerable holdings in this sector and a portion of it may well be best targeted to income vs capital appreciation.
