Well, whatever it is. 8kW-16. Most small houses will draw 16kW during parts of a day.

The point is, just addressing the minimal power requirements of households, excluding that of heavy industry, the use of solar comes with substantial ecological downside.

CERTAINLY, far more than all the fracking of 100,000s of wells that has been done throughout its 50 year history. For sure, there will be a lot more done in the future, but given the history, one can safely conclude that fracking is no more disruptive to the environment than would be capturing wide swaths of land for solar facilities.
