The world is interconnected, especially in a financial sense. I don't see any part of the globe escaping a financial crisis in Europe, US, or China.. And there there is Japan, albeit aside from their government debt, it would appear their private sector is getting their balance sheets cleaned up.. But they have no domestic demand as their population ages and declines.

But yes.. no decline will be permanent and new actors will rise from the ashes. But ashes are still the first step.. lol
