To actually answer your question.. Having the GPS Guided Glide Slope & Localizer system issue a pilot warning , during the airplane's descent ... might be a tad too late , for the 100 or so passengers aboard. On the other hand, if the communication system had the ability to see hear and avoid the gps's assigned spectrum .... those passenger could live to tell about their comfortable flight experience. I'm sure that many of those political and strong arm techniques are in play.. Greedy sobs will always try to protect their turf ... but (as a person who dedicated half a life to the safety of those thousands who used my navigational and data processing systems .... I come from a more sober and concerned point .
