Addons like Hyperwords are not made by Mozilla. The "writer" of the addon will have to make changes so that his app will be compatible with FF5. It normally would take a few days or weeks to get everything working. The developer of Hyperwords may have a day job and has more pressing duties than updating his app. All my addons work fine with FF5
