It is really great to have your sane and reasoned comments on this thread. Please stay with us.
So today the US jawbones up the Asian markets and the Globex spoos follow suit. Haven't we seen this before? Has anything basic changed? Isn't Japan still an economic basket case? Aren't their banks still near the danger level? Etc. Etc.
My question is how long can it last? But I've been asking the same question about the stock market for several years. How much further can valuations get stretched (price to book at 5, for God's sake!) before things revert to the mean. Or is this indeed a NEW ERA?

Hope to see your thoughts and those of the many other fine minds on this thread later, but now I'm off to my day job.
