I am a very happy guy. I think I have a good sense of humor. But I am an old guy and can see what is happening. Let me ask you, would you have been happy in Germany in 1930 watching Hitler rise to power? How would you have handled that. Or in the early 1900's when the rich subjugated the middle class. You would have been one of those who could see the brown shirts were killing the Jews and gays and everyone else. What would you have done? Well, that is what I have been watching for 30 years as the very rich crush the poor and middle class in this country. YOu can go though life ignorant and blissful, or you can face reality. I look back over my life and I have been right in most cases e.g. protesting the Vietnam war, working for civil rights for African Americans's and the gay community. I saw the right wing for what it was when I was just in my early 20's and have fought them in the political arena my whole life. And things are worse now than I have ever seen them. Guys like Wharfy and I will fight those neo cons to our last breath. It is our legacy to the kids. And we are usually right.
