Unisys press release re Comdex Storage Unisys Corp.'s Open Storage Solutions will be demonstrating its PrimeStor Open Storage Module (OSM3000). Supporting transfer rates up to 200 MB/sec, the product will be configured with both the industry standard Fibre Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) serial interface, and UltraSCSI. The OSM3000 is a state-of the art disk enclosure that can be used across multiple hardware platforms and multiple operating systems (O/S). Storage will also feature the OSR5000, a SCSI based disk subsystem that combines fault tolerance and high performance with Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) technology for the open systems environment.
