Universal Detection Technology Wins Tender for Biological Weapon Detection Equipment From the Singapore Civil Defense Force

The tender included equipment for the detection of Anthrax, Ricin, Botulinum, Y. Pestis (Plague) and Tularemia. The Company has also responded to a tender for radiation portal monitors from the same entity. The Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) is a uniformed organization under the purview of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore. The main role of SCDF is to provide fire-fighting, rescue and emergency ambulance services; mitigating hazardous materials incidents, as well as formulate, implement and enforce regulations on fire safety and civil defense shelter matters.
UNDT's biological weapon detection assays have been extensively used by first responders and private industry throughout the country. The equipment has been evaluated by the U.S. DOD as well as the United Kingdom military. The equipment's capacities include:
