Propaganda by the right wing is what I worry about most as it has been so effective; and now it will be super charged with the Citizens United decision.

FOX is an amazing phenomenon. Who knew that a large segement of our population would relish such obvious tripe. It is watched more than CNN or MSNBC.
Negative campaigning is how the R's have won many compaigns over the last 40 years. Dems don't do it nearly as much.
Of course the national Enquirer sells more than Newsweek, Time and US News together. Put that is a tabloid. How many of us knew it worked the same with politics.
The women writing the article about the danger of porno giving the impression women saying no, may teach people they don't really mean no, is all wet. In fact I was surpised at how wrong she got it. I think she just had a bone to chew about not liking porno.
First, 99% of those women don't ever say no. They are hired to say yes ahead of time and emote enthusiasm. Many see temselves as actresses. And most are professionals who work in a community that tests for aids and STD's regularly and know each other. They talk about :"have your worked with ?".
Secondly, I remember as a young man in high school and college, who often took a girl in the hills to make out, on Friday and Sat night the ritual always went: "no, no,no, no, OK or don't stop.
It was always done gently and as a matter of ritual. Both the boys and girls know the ritual. And if the girl actually wanted the boy to stop, he stopped, or he stopped where she had decided was as far as she wanted to go. We never went further. We all respected the girls decision. She was the decider-lol. I never got layed once in high school and must have kissed a million girls.
When I went to high scool the mores were pretty strong and usally it was just kissing and rubbing and feeling. And I never had one girl who was not as anxious to get to the hills to make out as I was. My mouth would get sore from kisssing so much.
In college we went further, but the same ritual was carried out. You get the girl hot first. That is the males job, and the female looks forward to it.
If the above is untrue, how does one explain the second and third and 20th date-lol? And it was never a big deal. We all did it exactly the same way and 99% of the time it was fine for everyone. Other than some broken hearts.
