I don't have any experience at all, but I would imagine it would be hard riding a bike on gravel roads.

As I just said to Smooothsail in PM, riding on gravel requires an entirely different skill set from riding on pavement. The position on Li'l Red though is not hunched over. It's an upright seating position with my legs straight down to the pegs. Some people even stand for short times when they ride to stretch out the legs.
