Chris Hayes laid it all out on Rachel's show tonight. The R's have set a trap. They have one shot to get rid of medicare, medicade and social security, but they need a democratic president. Can't do it with a Republican president, tried with bush; and so they have thrown down the gauntlet. They are using the debt ceiling to win. They are willing to bring down the country to do it. Obama must realize they have him and our social programs in their cross hairs. They are going for it and the ramifications are unimaginable if they win either the battles or the war. He has the veto pen, the people and the bully pulpit, he must use them all with the ferver of an FDR. He must rise to the occasion. This is not something he can negotiate without guns drawn. As I have been saying.
