No way Toronto can beat the Tigers with Patterson, Davis, Nix and perhaps Hill in the offensive lineup. Just too many weak bats against the firepower of the Tigers.

Jays have a huge problem with their offensive output from the outfielders now that Bautista has moved to 3rd, a move which should resolve the offensive woes at 3rd.

Combined, 2nd base plus the 3 outfielders need to hit .280 with some power to be competitive in their division. The current Jays combo of Hill, Patterson and Davis are far off the combined .280 average and are currently experiencing a severe power outage.

Jays need to start experimenting with their highly talented minor league options in these three positions.
