So you don't particularly think that is an end-time pronouncement
then. I don't see it as such myself. As for the rapture examination,
as we should call it, I posted to Shalom if he agrees on the points of the most basic of the building blocks up which this strange
3 way argument has raged now for most of the 20th century,--pre,
mid or post tribulation rapture--and I sure do not see what is so glorious about going through the tribulation and then just meeting
Jesus in the sky instead of the ground. Kind of seems like if you're in Auchwich and the American tanks push in the gates, did it matter to them if they could run to the gate or not, or just lay there and wait. And weren't most of them dead by then anyway. There was about a handful of humans clinging to life to my
knowledge of it, camparitively.

So, as for post-tribulation "Rapture", well, somehow the concept
goes over my head, and just doesn't seem to matter because
apparently most of us will have had our heads lopped off anyway.

Look at Tribulation.

Oh, that's another thing that does not exist. The Great Tribulation
is a misnomer in itself. There is only the word great used to
describe "tribulation", which in greek is, of course, : afflicted; anguish, burden, persecution, tribulation, trouble.

Tribulation is actually not the main meaning of the word, actually afflicted is. AND THE KEY HERE IS THE WORD WE
GET AS TRIBULATION COMES FROM THE GREED WORD
FOR PRESSURE.

WHAT IS THE LAST REFERENCE TO THE WORD TRIBULATION ANYWAY, NO MATTER WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS----hey, I can't believe it--what?...............Rev. 7!!

Barry, I really want to get into this, but only if anyone is willing to
read the pre-discussion agreement, if you will, I posted to Shalom,
and there is excellent reason for this. Trust me. Excellent reason.
This is the most clouded of all the scriptures, the most argued about and the least agreed upon, and lives are being led according to how one interprets it. (Yes, I agree that many, many Godly souls live each day as their last, but others don't and you know it. Because they don't believe it is anywhere close to the "last". ) I personally am trying hard to buy land. Hummmmmmmm

But if we do not strip away all teaching we have ever had at every level and just SEE WHAT JOHN SAW then it will stay in its original condition. So,. anytime you and Shalom will just agree with me that the very most basic statements I posted to him are like you see it, or we discuss why not and get to an agreement on what the word actually says, then the rest will be not be a waste of our time, and with all my heart I believe Rev. 7 is a key chapter, period. As in Key. To understanding. And if I'm completely wrong,
we will all know Rev. 7 much better.

But without building block upon block, word upon word, I know
I'm not going to exchange another word on the subject, because
it just doesn't make any sense to me as relayed in the teachings to this date. I just don't see, and it's like evolution, it just takes more
faith for me to believe the strange thread of scriptures shown to me
than to just take John at his word and believe him.
