Because her foreign affairs expertise was that she can see Russia from her back lawn.

Some time she is lucky. She said that Paul Revere rode his horse to warn the British. Of course that was not the case. On the evening of April 18, 1775, Paul Revere was sent for by Dr. Joseph Warren and instructed to ride to Lexington, Massachusetts, to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock that British troops were marching to arrest them. Later he was arrested by a British patrol. Revere was held for some time and then released. Presumably when he was in captivity he warned the British that the militia is coming.

So, what did Sarah Palin claimed? Paul Revere rode his horse to warn the British ... she stretched the history tooo far.
