that's silly. closing loopholes and subsidies is the right way to give the feds money BUT that give has to be met with real spending cuts at the rate of about 3X to 4X to 1X for the loophole/subsidy closures. there is nothing wrong with taking the tax man out of targeted industries and targeted individuals. it is just a form of corruption that congress and lobbyists love.
