Back in 2001 my Windows 98 machine was infected with the I LOVE YOU virus. I had my anti-virus software disabled and forgot to turn it back on. I seen a file, an MP3, it looked suspicious, it was NAMEOFSONG.mp3.vbs

Well I was curious and clicked on it, wow did my hard drive start going crazy, turned off the power to the machine, turned it back on and tens of thousands of files destroyed, mainly photos and MP3's, so I restored an image and was back in business.

I do not click on suspicious files anymore.
