Greeks lose their marbles: <Nearby streets were littered with chunks of smashed marble and ripped-up paving stones that had been thrown at police. > They wanted their Elgin Marbles back, but it's better that they are in a safer place. Perhaps if they smash the Acropolis down too it will make them happier. And destroy the airports and telecommunications base stations. If they demand to be wealthy, they should smash everything if they can't be and can't retire at 45. The world owes them a living.

They have obviously NOT suffered enough and deserve a good deal more suffering: <Greece fended off a bankruptcy that threatened to roil global financial markets, approving severe spending cuts and tax increases Wednesday in the face of violent protests by Greeks who say they have suffered enough. > Who do they propose should provide them the living to which they think they are entitled?

If they think they have suffered enough, they obviously have not yet realized that there is no 'enough' in suffering. Suffering can always be increased until everyone is dead. There is no lower limit. Normally, after enough horrors, the survivors call a truce and reconsider their premises. But from evidence over just the last 100 years around the world, it's obvious that horrors can be made very large indeed.

Greeks surviving until now should take a break from rioting and destruction, get a job, buy some souvlaki [leave the ouzo], look after some tourists, sell some tradable citizenships. I'd be happy to employ some Greeks to build me a house and services to go with it. Greece is great. Well, it was, nearly 40 years ago.
