Section Two of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is the section of the Constitution of Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms that lists what the Charter calls "fundamental freedoms" theoretically applying to everyone in Canada, regardless of whether they are a Canadian citizen, or an individual or corporation. These freedoms can be held against actions of all levels of government and are enforceable by the courts.

Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms:

(a) freedom of conscience and religion;
(b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;
(c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and
(d) freedom of association.

He pointed out that there ain't no such thing as freedom of speech as defined by the 1st amendment.

Not exactly the wording of the 1st amendment but it works for me.
