It may take a major news flash that is negative to bring equities down, but even a major, level-7 nuclear catastrophe at three nuclear power plants in Japan didn't faze the markets.

If the government, er, I mean if the terrorists fly airplanes into buildings again, that would result in the loss of our last few freedoms, but would it faze the post-capitalist equity markets? Doubtful. The shock value seems to have worn off of that ploy.
