The point is Bachmann stated that the Founders worked tirelessly until slavery was no more

actually, she narrowed the founders down to "the very founders who wrote these documents (Declaration of Independence and US Constitution). There were 55 members of the Constitutional Convention and they are listed as the authors of the US Constitution.

If your argument is that it is a blatant untruth because not all of members of the Constitutional Convention worked tirelessly to end slavery, you win. Because it is clear that not all of them did. But on the other hand, it is clear that many of them did fight tirelessly to end slavery.

She also stated that Adams did not rest until slavery was extinguished.

Unless he worked from beyond the grave that is also an untruth.

No, what she said is that Adams "would not rest until slavery was extinguished". He fought to abolish slavery up until his death. Since slavery wasn't extinguished during his lifetime, he fought it until his death. This is pretty basic English. If you parse the sentence it doesn't say that slavery was extinguished due to his efforts, only that he wouldn't rest until it was. Since he fought it until his death it is an absolutely true statement. It is not even an exaggeration.
