Myron,

There is a "classic" topping signal in the Pring book that is characterized by: A top in the indicator at a price high
: A lower top in the indicator at a higher price
: A top in the indicator that is higher than the 2nd top but still lower than the first top at yet another price high.
: Occasionally a 4th indicator top close to the 3rd
top on yet another price high occurs but the 3rd
one is usually the last.

That would be a price high, say...10, with an indicator (say...34 day
RSI) high of 87. Then the price goes to 12 with the indicator at 68.
Finally (usually) a price at 15 with the indicator at 79.

The "final" top can be long-term or intermediate-term depending on the
period of the indicator.

FYI,
Doug R
