Well last time out AAPL was hard to not trade since it hit those clear top pivots so well and pulled back down and did bounce as well off the bottoms too ($319's in premrkt after the reballancing ) recent off the oversold did bounce too pretty well .

Not sure how one trades anything thinking "downtrend" or "uptrend" only as they all dont go strait down . APPL did pop on earnings last time though just after GOOG got whacked down .

Suggested over on the AAPL thread that instead of cheerleading AAPL they should have sold all their AAPL stock and shorted RIMM which was as telegraphed a downtrending stock as seen in years....then rebuy AAPL with the profits if they chose, lower -->after that 'maturing bull flag" that failed . I admit too buying that $330 pivot a couple of times and after that should have listened to you ! <VBG
(those were winning trades tho)

* You'll note i was mentioning during that maturing flag several times that any touch to "$350" in that tight channel was a 100% short ...and it was . There are much better bang for the buck trades out there in a NT bottoming market to be searched out .
