Hello Sonny,
Thank you for the post. Today, so far, it looks good. I hope it stays that way for a while. I did sell what I had bought on the recent dip and took home some profit, and am ready to buy more in case if the market decides to reverse itself, such as CPQ back to 60 or under. I like Mr. Pfiffer and with this guy at the helm, I don't think CPQ will suffer.
One piece of info for you. From what I hear from financial circles on this end, US interst rates could be reduced in 1998! Thinking about it, if the economy shows signs of weakness, other than facing a recession, why the Feds. shouldn't lower the rates? What do you think?
What happens in Egypt is very sad and sick. US and Eurpean tourists must be warned that Egypt.like Algeria, and Pakistan(we just saw what they did to 4 innocent American citizens) are the hot bed of fundentalism. The citizens of these countries are mostly nice people, but they have a good ratio of angry and violent people. For these people, the Crusades are still on.
He who travells to these countries must be prepared. Depite what the local governments advertise ( we see on CNN the advertisement that says I wish I was in Egypt!!!!) in order to attract the tourists, they have no control our their fundementalist that consider killing Jews and Christians the price for a free passage to heaven. (I am not exxaggerating!) So, American tourists pls. stay home, visit your 52 Sates, come to Europe, go to South America, but don't go to Arab Coutnries, at least for NOW.
Best regards,
