Thank you for your kinds thoughts and congratulations. Yes we are both proud of our lengthy marriage and continue to tell each other how much we love each other every day. Divorces are very prevalent in my husband's profession and we were very lucky to get it right the first time and have others ask us often how we accomplished such a long relationship. We tell them we each were deeply committed to our vows and expected to remain together "Until Death Do Us Part".

We both also had parents who were in long committed marriages and they were very good examples for us.

That night we looked around and the restaurant had all of its tables filled. Made us think our economy was coming along well as so many people are dining out during the week. I think I read an article that said at least 200 new eating places open up and 200 fail each year here. I did get a flyer about a new sandwich not far from here opened called the "Spicy Pickle" that I need to go check out for our high school lunch group to possibly visit. We like to go to different types of food places every month.
