I like off white backgrounds be they grey or ivory tinted - easy on the eyes. Pure white is ALSO hard on the eyes. Like this message I'm writing is on pure white with BOLDED black script. Give me off white background and plain black script

Nothing beats BLACK for clarity. Anything else is cosmetic and the eyes suffer!

Deep six the blue script, period!

Black script, period.

Use color for OTHER matters on the page - not for script.
