My guess is that the run up to 7 was buying on the rumor, and the selling now is on the news, since it is not more outstanding than most would have guessed. The "multimillion dollar" initial payment amounts to a few cents per share, and probably does not exceed the burn rate. As I read the announcement, it gives Siemens exclusive rights in the telecommunications sector, so this is the only deal fonix will get there. Even if they get similar deals in several other sectors, it's hard to be very confident the royalties will exceed $1.00/share per year. I wouldn't be buying either until I found out whether "multimillion" means $2 million or 20 million. Bob
