so far all we get is a midnight sale with no new mission statement and vague promises of great things to come again.

So, what would you like the mission statement to state, and what do you want this place to be, other than what it is? Seems to me, Brad is all ears. Speak up and bring up some concrete ideas. Vaguely complaining does not cut the present SI mustard.
