Exactly, GZ. I used to enjoy the popular music of Linda Ronstadt and Barbra Streisand, as well as the acting and movies of Andy Griffith, Ron Howard, Alec Baldwin, and Tom Hanks. Then, when they become outspoken proponents of left-wing radicalism, it completely turned me off. Now, I just avoid seeing or hearing them.
Many people seek entertainment such as music and movies as an escape from politics. When these artists decide to use their popularity to make political statements, I find it repulsive.
Hell, I'll never be able to enjoy an episode of my once-favorite program again, the Andy Griffith Show, because of his active endorsement of Hussein.
The best thing for the Hollywood elite is to avoid alienating potential listeners and viewers by sticking to their trades and avoid becoming political activists. Otherwise, it's a major turnoff!
The amusing thing about Hanks latest failure is that he is one of the egalitarians who actively seeks to destroy the fabric of America by endorsing Obama, yet he created a corny new film that would probably only appeal to Whites. Most Blacks, Hispanics, and Muslims would ever enjoy that brand of humor, because it is meant to appeal to Whites. The irony is that he has helped to destroy the people in society who were the most likely to want to see his films.
The same goes for Julia Roberts. She is also a democratic activist and mouthpiece. |
