Much of Hollywood is far to the left, I try to avoid those people when I can, but some times it's unavoidable... the reason you find their actions so repulsive is because they have stepped over the boundaries and have abused their celebrity status, they actually bought into the hype that surrounds them, AND those liberal actors really have no clue or understanding about what the real "magic" of Hollywood is... the magic is exactly as you just said, it's intended to be an escape from reality and not a flight into reality, strictly for entertainment purposes only... so these idiot actors only poison their well and destroy their audience by opening their cake hole and say something stupid... people give an actor celebrity status only because that actor has portrayed an imaginary character who we would love to know or would love to be... we love James Bond, we love all the television CSI characters, and so on, so we hold the ones who play those characters in high esteem, but without those characters, those actors are meaningless empty shells sitting on the shelf waiting to be brought to life with another script... these actors are nothing more than hired help, that's all they are... I know many producers in L.A. and elsewhere, and these guys are conservatives and Republicans, they love America and only hire like minded people, they would never hire some left wing liberal jackass who doesn't know enough to keep his cake hole shut and speak only when spoken to...
