Atheism is a religion.

the 'ism' at the end of a word doesn't indicate religion. it indicates belief. your belief that atheism is a religion, is just as inaccurate as your belief that conservatism is a religion.

It is a set of beliefs about the supernatural.

it's a belief that there is no god. that isn't a religion. no one refers to the religion of atheism. that would be absurd.
