If the stimulus was a trillion, divided by 3.6 million I get $277,777.77777777777777777777777778 per job! I know the stimulus was probably MORE than a trillion, so, don't jump on me for that!
But, it has me asking, why didn't they just give the 15 million unemployed $50,000.00 each? I know it's offensive to have the lowest getting free money - it's much more
right that the banksta's get it!
But, wouldn't that money have had a MARVELOUS stimulative effect? All those broke, scrabbling people suddenly buying stuff would launch our economy like a moon shot!
Sure, eventually most of them would have blown it all and be right back where they started, selling that stuff. A few of them would take the opportunity and get back on their feet. But the can would definitively be WAY further down the road!
