"though will hav to learn the ins & outs of Apple am just so tired of cheap Pc's breaking all the time ....and the malware."

Yes, me to. I started with TRS80 and then moved to MacIntosh. This Mac was a dream, Never one virus or malmare, etc. I had 95megs of hard drive and told me wife that we couldn't fill this in a life time. The two flaws at that time were the lack of programs--apps in today lingo--and the lack of compatibility. I finally went to Windows. What a mistake! Back to everything AAPL including Apple TV. The iPad2 is the best tech gadget ever. We use it for everything. My wife's a harpist and she put all her music on the iPad2 using Forscore. She dumped a suitcase full of music on the iPad2. Then she could turn the pages at the flick of a finger. But that wasn't good enough so she got a foot peddle that plugs into the iPad2. Now she simply slips the music pages with the tap of her foot. She uses mostly a lever harp where she has to adjust the keys levers. Adjusting the keys and turning the pages was a hastle but she managed. Now she turns the pages with the top of her toes and that leaves her hands free to adjust the keys.

This is only one fo dozens of Apps that we use. A couple of Apps are worth the price of the whole iPad.
