I think you both are wrong, although I think in the future these prices will get lower it is still a great value. Take into consideration what you get with ISDN. ISDN avg. $80.00 per month including the ISP piece, plus the purchase of a ISDN modem or router 200.00 to 700.00 and all that for a "Dial Up 128k connection."

GTE's ADSL you are getting basically "5" times more performance, a quality ISP, a guarantee on performance, 7x24 tech support, no hardware to buy, a direct connect vs. a dial up, ability to dial into your ADSL ISP when traveling unlike most cable offerings, the ability to connect the modem to a small hub and share the bandwidth with all the PC's in your home, frees up your phone line for voice and in home installation directly to you PC. Obviously, at this price it is not for your typical AOL type user - yet, more your typical business professional.

A little less than 1/2 a T1 for 125.00 - That's a great value!
