Intergraph Sues Intel - What's this about? HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Nov 17 (Reuters) - Intergraph Corp said Monday it filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court, the Northern District of Alabama, Birmingham against Intel Corp <INTC.O>. The suit alleges that Intel coerced Intergraph into relinquishing certain patent rights concerning Intergraph's Clipper microprocessor, the company said in a statement. A company spokeswoman said the case was filed Monday morning at the Birmingham court. Court officials were not able to confirm the receipt of the lawsuit. Intergraph said the the patents in question define the architecture of a microprocessor's cache memory management.
