I have recently begun following "Lone Star" and some of your recent recommendations--BIOI and SFLX. I want to tell you how refreshing it is to find enthusiastic but balanced assessments of companies such as BIOI--analysis that takes into account what others are saying and tries to reach a fair, well-reasoned position. I have followed CTSL for a number of years, and am surprised that Murphy's returns on his electronic portfolio are as high as you report (the biotech has done much better). He has ridden a number of companies right into the ground, with assurances all the way down that the turn-around is imminent. Spectacular losses offset his frequently insightful calls into a company's prospects. He is bright and a very nice man, but his timing is terrible, and he too often focuses only on a company's technology without seeing market factors--as if he recommends BetaMax over and over and over again.....
