In conversations with officers at the AGM, they discussed the patent applications and described that there would be process patents and specific hardware patents.

The last filing by JBII (10Q) says that patents are no guarantee and essentially not in their plans beyond initial application.

"We plan to rely on a combination of copyright, trade secret, trademark laws and non-disclosure and other contractual provisions to protect our proprietary rights."

"We do not know whether any of our patent applications, once made, will result in the issuance of any patents. Even if patents are issued, they may not be sufficient to protect our technology or processes."

That wasn't very nice of those JBII officers to share non-public material information with the attendees of the AGM and then withhold all video. That gives you guys a pretty big advantage over the rest of us! RegFD, anyone? Don't worry though, Honest John refusing to release the AGM footage while keeping last year's available on his web site leads most of us to doubt whether much of a meeting was even held at all. 500 attendees, huh? There were no shortage of pictures last year...
