LOL, so we shouldn't rely on scientific cocensus? So what you're saying is that the current scientific concensus on anything is meaningless? So gravity is just a theory and scientists don't have a fully certain understanding of it, yet if you jump off a building you'll certainly feel it's effects. Same situation with AGW. Scientist are just as certain of AGW as gravity, yet they don't understand fully all the short term variations in climate and weather. This is what your buddy Maurice was balking at that the current models fail to predict short term variations in climate. Well long term the models are valid. This is what Maurice fails to point out. And we know that the long term consequences of AGW will be dire. And we'll have people to blame like Maurice for our failure to stem it.
