There are people who are negative on stocks and then there are people who are bashers. I don't think anyone minds an intelligent argument against a stock's prospects, but sometimes people who are "negative" won't let it go. They may post their reasoning for not liking a stock once or twice, but then they persist, posting dozens of negative opinions, not just against the stock but also against people who favor it. There is negative opinion and then there is bashing and everyone here knows the difference.

Mindless, endlessly repetitive bashing should be banned.

I also think the word "idiot" should be banned from SI. I'm not saying there aren't idiots who post here, but anyone who calls someone they disagree with an idiot should probably be banned from that thread forever.
