Yes indeed, tax cuts produce jobs. Nobody is asking where do they do so. Well, having returned from a business trip from overseas, I can definitely vouch for the fact that tax cuts for the rich does produce jobs not here in the US but in low labor cost countries like India. I wonder when will be stop foreign nation building like building schools in Iraq and Afghanistan, producing employment for the Indians and Chinese. It is time we start nation building here.

I have no reason to doubt Obama's intelligence and those of the folks on his team. So far he has only indicated that Social Security and Medicare is on the table. he has not indicated the details. Besides, he is leaving the task of "cutting benefits" to the Republicans and thereby having them face the music of the American people including those from their own party. why should Bush expend his time and energy to defend something (reforms in Medicare and SS) where Bush himself failed to achieve with a Republican majority.
