Mr James McDonald reports
White Knight and International Pursuit have entered into option agreements
whereby International Pursuit can acquire a 50% interest in two properties, Tonka
and Woodruff, in the Carlin trend, Nevada by expending US$1.5 million per
property.
The Tonka property (3,840 acres) lies directly between the Gold Quarry mine (20
million ounces) and the Rain mine (five million ounces) both operated by
Newmont Mining. Tonka features a coincident gold and arsenic rock chip
anomaly. Within this anomaly is a narrow altered intrusive dyke with high
background gold values lying adjacent to a major fault structure. These features
are supportive of the potential of underlying gold mineralization and present an
attractive drill target.
The Woodruff property (640 acres) exhibits an unusually strong and coincident
arsenic, mercury and antimony rock chip anomaly. This area lies within an
important fault structure adjacent to the producing Rain structure of Newmont.
This prior work has clearly defined several drill sites. The Woodruff property is
contiguous with the Rain prospect.
As an initial commitment, International Pursuit is required to spend US$300,000
for a drill program on each property. Both Tonka and Woodruff have been
advanced to the drilling stage and drilling is scheduled for 1998.
