This article says what everyone with a long-term outlook has always said: the market for chips is growing faster than almost any other market you can think of, the demand for equipment to make chips will grow in tandem, AMAT is the biggest supplier of that market, and is an excellent long-term investment. In good times and bad, in up-cycles and down, this is universally agread upon. However, almost nothing else can be said with certainty.
